Layering Angles

I saw a card layout that I liked; however it only used one layer of cardstock.  It took me a long time to figure out how to match the angle.  I hope the picture tutorial below is helpful.

Stampin' Up! Products
  • Whisper White cardstock
    • Card base measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Tangerine Tango cardstock
    • Card layer measures 4" x 3 1/2"
  • Haiku Designer Series Paper (retired)
    • Card layer measures 4" x 3 1/2"
  • Bow Builder Punch
  • Tangerine Tango ink
  • Just Believe stamp set (retired)
  • Glue Dots

Creating the Layers

  • Laying Tango and Haiku cardstock measure 1 1/2" down from the top on the right hand side and mark with a pencil.

  • Bottom layer
    • Place in trimmer and cut from your 1 1/2" mark to the bottom of the opposite corner
  • Layering patterned paper
    • Place in trimmer and cut from your 1 1/2" mark to the bottom of the opposite corner
