Way to Go Bill

Jim and I are so proud of our children:  sons David and Bill and daughter-in-law Kristin.  All of them are hard and dedicated workers.

Bill was promoted this week and I felt he deserved a special card.

To create this 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" easel card you will need the following:
  • Whisper White cardstock
    • 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
    • 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Pacific Point cardstock
    • 4" x 5 1/4" - top layer
    • 4" x 5 1/4" - using Versamark and Starring You stamp set, stamp stars onto this piece
    • 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"  (using Big Shot Movers & Shapers die, center this over the star die)
  • Kiwi Kiss cardstock
    • 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
  • Murifield Designer Series Paper
    • 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Crimped section
    • 1 1/2" x 4" Pacific Point cardstock; this is the base, use this to as a backing for the crimped pieces
    • Crimp one of each color Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point cardstock 1/2" x 5"
    • To keep pieces crimped and 3-D, mount the crimpted pieces onto base and trim off edges of crimped pieces
  • Top layer
    • Mount 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Pacific Point (star cut out) onto 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" Kiwi Kiss
    • Using Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool, make holes for white brads
    • Use Dimensionals under this layer
  • Sentiment
    • Stamp "way to go" from the Starring You stamp set using Pacific Point ink onto Whisper White cardstock - punch out using Large Oval punch
    • Mount this onto a Wide Oval punch our of Kiwi Kiss, then trim excess 1/4" wider than stamped image
    • Mount these onto a Wide Oval punch piece of Baja Breeze
    • Place Dimensionals onto the back of this sentiment greeting
  • Stars
    • Layer stars using punch outs from the M&S die, Large Star and Star handpunches
  • One last special touch
    • Stamp stars using Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point ink on the bottom left hand side of the envelope.
