Spice Cake III (correction)
I had misidentified a letter in the detailed layout of yesterday's card. This is the correct detail. My post HERE has been updated to reflect the correct layout.

Using A1 Envelopes
I have purchased and received A1 envelopes that I seldom use. The envelopes measure 5 1/8" X 3 5/8" and are typically used for response or notecard envelopes.
Using your 12" x 12" cardstock you are able to cut out three cards (directions below). With an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock you will only get you two cards. My cards measure 7" x 4 7/8" (unfolded)

Modern Elements
I purchased this patterned paper for a steal knowing it matched either Stampin' Up!'s Bermuda Bay or Taken with Teal cardstock. Modern Elements are the "rage."
Stampin' Up! Products
* Stamp and punch two butterflies. One is adhered to the card and the other is popped up with a
Dimensional. I used three pearls for a prettier butterfly.
I tried tying the tag on using twine; through the ribbon, my klutzy hands couldn't make a nice knot close enough to the tag. Instead, I attached it with a mini glue dot under the knot.
I used the following stamp sets on the card box top - Mosaic Madness and Vintage Labels. The ribbon was 5/8" twill in Certainly Celery. A picture tutorial on the box is available for only $2.99. Click here for ordering information.

My Create Ink
Today I did a first - I made a donation to a website that I have used many times. If you don't have Stampin' Up!'s Color Coach this website is the next best thing.
The website is easy to navigate. Find a Stampin' Up! color or colors you would like to coordinate with \Stampin' Up! colors. There is a drop down menu on the left-hand side, I normally select "All Colors." Find your color(s), double click on each one and they will appear in the middle of the page. Select "Search" and the program will find coordinating colors.

Pansy Punch and Flower Shop - A Must Have
Stampin' Up! Products
Frugal Tips
- Very Vanilla cardstock
- Card base measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (folded)
- Baja Breeze cardstock
- Punched strip - start with a piece measuring 4" x 3/4"
- Kiwi Kiss cardstock
- Card layer measures 4" x 5 1/4"
- Pacific Point cardstock
- Start with a strip measuring 4" x 1/8"
- Glue this strip to the Baja Breeze punched border, then trim to 3 3/4"
- Murifield Designer Series Paper (retired)
- Card layer measures 3 3/4" x 1 3/4"
- Card layer measures 3 3/4" x 3 1/4"
- Blossom Petals, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Modern Label, Pansy and Word Window hand punches
- Pacific Point ink
- Flower Shop and Wishes Your Way stamp sets
- Dimensionals
Frugal Tips
- Don't forget, make use of the unused space inside the Kiwi Kiss card layer. Cut out some elements with your punches.
- When cutting 12" x 12" paper, instead of cutting a piece 3 3/4" wide
- First cut it at 4" inches
- Cut of the length you need (Example for this card, I would have cut a piece to 4" x 3 1/4")
- Trim the piece so it measures 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"
- The remaining strip of paper is now at a width more commonly used is 4" Instead of cutting the 12 x 12 at 3 3/4" your leftover piece is a commonly used width.
- Clear as mud? Hopefully this picture illustrates this better.

Thinking of You Using a Card Map
