I never liked butterflies until I got the God's Beauty stamp set from Stampin' Up! This is an exclusive stamp set only offered under Hostess Benefits*. This card was copied from an artist on Splitcoastampers.

The butterflies were first stamped on Tangerine Tango cardstock and then handcut and placed on SU dimensional dots.
The Post-it-Note cover is cut 3 1/8" x 8 1/2" and scored lengthwise at 3", 3 3/8", 6 1/2" and 6 7/8". The SU Scallop edge punch is used along the main cover edge only. A Velcro circle is added to keep the holder closed.

- Take 2 pieces of 6" x 5" double sided cardstock and die cut two scallop envelope
- Trim the bottom of both envelopes to 1/2" inch
- Cut a 1" x 12" strip of cardstock for the purse strap
- Using adhesive, glue the bottom of the two scallop envelopes together
- Using adhesive, sandwich and glue the purse strap along the sides of the envelope
- Wrap a piece of coordinating paper around a snack size candy (including Ghirardelli chocolates) and place inside the party favor purse.
You can actually complete 2 candy treat purses out of one 12" x 12" of double-sided cardstock.

This is a hands-on scrapbooking workshop for beginners to intermediate stampers, taught by Beth Adams, local paper craft designer and Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.All supplies are included in class fee. We will be making a True Friend Photo Book using top of the line Stampin’ Up! products. Photo book has 7 pages to add your photos and journaling. Class instruction will include the use of rubber stamps, ink pads and hand die-cut punches.

Three Piece Valentine Gift Set

- Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon

The top white layer was first stamped and then the heart was punched out. A piece of ribbon was knotted then placed behind the top white layer at a diagonal (to represent the bow and arrow traditionally shown on hearts for Valentine's Day)
Both red cardstock layers were embossed using the Cuttlebug Heart embossing folder.
I purchased a memo pad with pen from Michael's dollar bins and just remade the cover.

Stampin' Up! Snow Swirled Stamp Set

- Mellow Moss or Real Red grosgrain ribbon
- Snow Swirled stamp set
- Card 5 ½ " x 4 ¼ "
- Stamp inside card with sentiment
- Next layer - Whisper White cardstock cut at 5 ¼ " x 4”
- Stamp "Season's Greetings" at bottom right hand corner
- Mask off bottom (2 ¾ “ from bottom edge)
- Stamp above mask – this is how you achieve two tone effect
- Ink large snowflake, stamping off first on scrap paper, then stamp on cardstock (repeat)
- Ink small snowflake, stamp directly on cardstock
- Remove mask and attach grosgrain ribbon along line left by masking
- Tree layer
- Cut Whisper White at 2 ½” x 3 ½” – stamp tree
- Cut colored cardstock 2 ¾” x 3 ¾”
- Using SU Punch Ticket Corner, cut each corner
- Adhere two pieces together
- Adhere tree to card front

PAPER CRAFT CLASS for Wednesday, November 12
This is a sneak preview of what my Paper Craft class will be creating. We will turn an inexpensive acrylic 5" x 7" frame into a gorgeous desk calendar for 2009.
Stampin' Up! Products
- Handsome Hunter and Real Red cardstock
- Tres' Chic stamp
- Clear embossing
- Calendar from a very talented and generous stamper: Cat, check out her blog
- Acrylic 5" x 7" frame from Walmart
- Brads
- Real Red card stock is cut 5" x 7"
- Handsome Hunter cardstock is cut 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" and embossed using the Tres Chic stamp and clear embossing
- The wallet size photo has a mat in Real Red, measuring 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
- Print out the calendar and follow instructions which are supplied with the file
- Cut the mat for under the calendar 3 3/8" x 2 5/8"
- Holes are made through the calendar and mat and attached with a mini brad
- Attach assembled calendar to the frame with tape adhesive
