A Classic Slider Card

Stampin' Up! Products
  • Night of Navy cardstock
    • Card base measures 5 1/4" x 4 1/4"
      • Note that the width of the card base is less than an A2 card; this is to accommodate the tag sticking out
  • Bashful Blue cardstock
    • Scrap for stamped image
    • Finished banner measures 2 3/4" x 1"
  • Pumpkin Pie cardstock
    • Card layer measures 5" x 4"
    • Finished tag measures 4 7/8" x 2"
      • Stamp "To A Classic" 1" from bottom edge
  • Travel Journal Designer Series Paper
    • Card layer measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/4"
      • Draw pencil line on back of this piece 3/4" from bottom and 3/4" on each side
      • Using Word Window punch, line bottom edge of punch cut line to pencil line and punch 3/4" in from one side and 3/4" in from other side
  • Guy Greetings stamp set
  • Night of Navy ink
  • Night of Navy 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
  • Banner Triple, Scallop Tag Topper and Word Window punches
  • Candy Dot
  • Dimensional
  • Foam Tape


Putting together card
  • Prepare cardstock pieces following information above
  • Turn over patterned cardstock and encase tag using foam tape as indicated in this picture
  • Remove liner and attach patterned cardstock to front of card
  • Slide in tag, butting up against foam tape
  • Place glue dot on penny and attach to stamped car image
  • Flip over and place a Dimensional on the penny

  • Remove liner off Dimensional and place on card, allowing Dimensional to only stick to tag

*I did have to make a new tag because I didn't stamp the "To A Classic" sentiment far enough to the left.
