Flower & Field Tri Fold Shutter Card

I was inspired to create this card after viewing THIS YouTube video.  I have listed my measurements below.  I did find an error in one measurement stated in the video.

This card is not for the faint at heart.  I, preferring continuity of the pattern paper, made this difficult to make.  At least it was a free Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper because of my mistakes that ended up in File #13.  You DEFINITELY need to make up a sample before attempting this.

Pop Up Flap Card Trumps a Regular Card

In her video she doesn't mention the 16th" measurements, I have them below. I adjusted her card layer measurements for my card, including the Whisper White mechanism. Please take the time to leave Rachel a comment, she is an outstanding person with a big heart!

I HIGHLY recommend you make a sample following Rachel's video before you use my measurements.  I'm a little very OCD and made a few minor adjustments.

 If you have a personalized stamp for the back of your cards, stamp it before attaching mechanism.

Helpful Hint

1. If you plan on making two of these cards, cut your DSP 12" x 12" paper at 4" x 12". 
2. Rotate landscape direction and cut a two sections each measuring 4" x 4 7/8". 
3. Turn cut sections and cut down to 3 5/8". x 4 7/8"
4. The remaining scrap from your 4" x 12" piece measures 4" x 2 1/2". This can be used for the inside of the card for. That is why 98% of the time I cut my DSP at 4" widths.

Cutting the DSP diagonally

1. Cut DSP diagonally.
2. Use removeable tape or Post-it-Note and put the cuts together as illustrated
3. Cut DSP diagonally in the other direction
