QUICK TIP

Do you struggle making the messy swirls of twine?  I do!  Struggle no more.

For this card I wrapped the twine around three times and tie it in a knot around posts I have for a handmade bow maker. Remove and spread out the layers and adhere it to your card.

It took me FOREVER (hours and hours) to create a template for the sections.  I finally threw out my tutorial on cutting each individual section and created a template that can be used over and over. The easiest way to create section templates is to follow the tutorial below.  Cut your template out of heavy cardstock or window sheet.  Cut your pattern paper to 3 1/4" and place template on top and trace diagonal line and cut.

Please note, if you use a edge border punch, you will have to trim to fit each section.
