• Scored at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"
• Mark from the top on the left edge at 3 1/2" and cut diagonally from the 4 1/4" score line. Refer to diagram HERE.

• Draw a line from the top left side 1 7/8" to 3 5/16" from the top on the right side

No matter how careful you are with marking lines and cutting, the angles may be off.  It can be very frustrating, especially if you're OCD like me.

This card uses 12" cardstock but fits well in an A2 envelope.  Normally an A2 card measures 4 1/4", this card measures 4"; for this reason I mounted the bird slightly off the edge.

I created two PDF cutting diagrams.  The card base PDF and the card layers PDF.

Sympathy Card - Cascade Tri Fold

So many sympathy cards have been made and sent.  Our family mourns the loss of our niece Jennifer. She was definitely loved by so many.  Tears still flow every day.  We didn't have enough time with her but we know she is in the arms of the Lord and her grandmother (my mom).

It took me FOREVER (hours and hours) to create a template for the sections.  I finally threw out my tutorial on cutting each individual section and created a template that can be used over and over. The easiest way to create section templates is to follow the tutorial below.  Cut your template out of heavy cardstock or window sheet.  Cut your pattern paper to 3 1/4" and place template on top and trace diagonal line and cut.
