Almost Amethyst Tea Party

Have you ever gone into your craft room and can't even create a simple card?  That has been my problem for the last few days.  If you are not familiar with Clean & Simple (CAS), check out the blog HERE.   To inspire card makers, this blog uses "card maps."  The card map used for this card is at the bottom of this posting.  You can access all the card maps from this blog HERE.

I am not in love with this card, but I know the recipient will love that I took the time to say "thinking of you."

Clean and Simple Stamping Challenge

I was challenged to create a card from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog, using this card map.  This is a good way to create a card from scratch.

Stampin' Up! Products
  • Soft Suede textured cardbase
  • Soft Suede and Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • Soft Suede ink
  • Upsy Daisy stamp set
  • Dimensionals
Other Products
  • 1/4" ribbon
Directions
  • Soft Suede textured cardbase is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" when folded
  • Stamped image layer is on Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 3-1/8" x 3-3/4"
  • Next layer is Soft Suede cut at 3 3/8" x 4 1/2"
  • A bow is then tied around these two layers
  • Next layer is Very Vanilla cut at 3 5/8" x 4 3/4"
  • Add Dimensionals to these layers and attached to card base
