Cardmaking the EASY Way

You've probably seen my "Three Little Inches" card on my blog. The 3" x 3" layout really maximizes a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock. Today, I was putting together a card using 3" x 3" squares. With OCD and being seventy, I tend to be slow, so creating just one card takes quite a bit of time. I ended up making sixteen card fronts from this beautiful Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper called Petals & Paisleys Specialty, which my crafting buddy and sister gifted me. It is a retired DSP.

Learning to use my Brother ScanNCut has made cardmaking so much more enjoyable. Naturally, I had to create a template to help me attach a card layer to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. I’m excited to introduce these templates that perfectly position your card layers.

The Brother CanvasWorkspace file for two templates are available for purchase below. They include two options: a 3 1/8" square and a 3 3/8" square.

As easy as One,

Two,

Three,

and Four

The Brother CanvasWorkpace file is available for purchase below. There are two card templates; 3 1/8" square and 3 3/8". The file does not include the 3" x 3" DSP layer; it is more economical to use your paper trimmer.

Glue card layers together, then use the template.
